Jiwani belonged to a staunch ‘arya samaj’ agricultural family of village Bamnauli. She was married to Hardwari Lal at a very young age. She was from Chillar Gotra. Although she was uneducated, yet compensated the loss by her hard-working and dutiful nature as a house wife. She had good physique and sharp features. She possessed very amiable nature and did not like to annoy anyone and was found to do even other’s duties. She also knew many ins and outs of progressive farming.
Jiwani was a kind-hearted lady. She was sincere, humble and obliging. Her greatest quality was that she readily helped the poor people. God had gifted her with courteous manners. Her ever smiling approach, full of natural endless love and affection towards children, is unforgettable.
She was blessed with two sons, namely Raghbir Singh and Dilbag Singh and one daughter, Shanti Devi. She loved all of them from the core of her heart and looked after them very well. She never grumbled over anything. In the evening, she used to spend most of her time in remembering God. She was very well looked after by her son Raghbir Singh and his wife Sharda during the days of her old age. She left for her heavenly abode in 1984 and was cremated at village with full honour in presence of many relatives and villagers.
