Satya Parkash Singh Dalal

Satya Parkash Singh Dalal was the eldest son of chacha Jai Lal, who was born on 27th January, 1941 in Ludhiana. He was well built, good-natured, and held a social outlook. Parkash was very supportive to all the family members. He studied up to F.Sc and later adopted farming as a profession. Initially, he was doing farming on 25 acres agricultural land near Kurukshetra and soon became well versed in all farm operations. He took guidance from his father and full support from his mother who had practical knowledge of farm operations and milch cattle. Later, he purchased farmland in Raipurani and planted a large area under orchard plantation, which is now in full bloom. He had a very powerful bonding with the Presenter from young age and more particular when he was working in Hissar, which is full of various young age memories.

Parkash was married to Prem, daughter of a well-known family of Chaudhary Nawal Singh of village Mokhra in District Rohtak. She is a very humble, soft-spoken, and well-mannered lady known for warmly welcoming visitors/relatives. Prem was the lady who looked after her mother-in-law very well during her old age, where she had her last breath at Rohtak in 2001 in presence of her elder son and Prem. Similarly, she looked after Parkash when he was not keeping good health during the later part of his life. She was well supported by her son Shamsher (Pinku) and his wife who frequently kept visiting Parkash all the way from the U.S. almost every month to attend to his father during old age at Rohtak, where he had his last breath on 22nd November, 2011.  

The couple is blessed with two children, a son, Shamsher Singh Dalal, a doctor (Neurovascular surgeon), and married to Dr. Sangeeta Chaudhary working and settled in the United States. Shamsher was very well brought up in Chandigarh and was very intelligent from childhood. He did his MBBS from Medical College, Rohtak and MD from Government Medical College, Patiala. They have two naughty boys, the elder, Tejas, and the younger, Samarveer. The younger child of Parkash is a daughter, Anjali Dalal, who is a Dentist (Orthodontist), who is married to a Dentist Amanpreet Singh, and settled in Khanna, Punjab.
