Ram Singh was born on 1st October, 1934 and is the only son of his father. He was a very welcome child and the whole family loved him the most. As he lost his father Ch. Banwari Lal in very tender age of about 4 years of age, he was only looked after by Ch. Hardwari Lal, who although was not his biological father but was like Nand Lal for Lord Krishna. Ram Singh passed his Matriculation Examination in the year 1950 but unfortunately could not continue studies to higher classes due to hearing problem. Consequently, he had no option but to look after his sizable land being the only son of his father. Therefore, he was sent to the village to start farming as his profession with innovative practices for better livelihood. As Ram Singh was brought up with all amenities in a city life and being eldest he had all high regards from all the younger family members. Since there was no choice, he had to learn how to swim in deep waters of village life as a fresher. So he had to pick up ins and outs of farming techniques to become a leading farmer, which he could achieve subsequently in a short time.
Ram Singh left active involvement in farming as a profession at the age of around 75 years and preferred to stay home. He stayed with his second son who was fully involved and supported him in farming operations from his childhood. He was more strong built during teens, but unfortunately slowly developed pain with pus formation in one of his leg, which was due to leg polio but not very much known during those days. So he could not study and ultimately got engaged in farming. This was another reason that bhai Ram Singh was more worried about his future and had soft corner for him. So it was Pardeep and his family who closely looked after Ram Singh during his old age. Of course, other children also were equally contributing to his needs. However, it was Jaideep son of Pardeep, who was practically taking care of Ram Singh as full time support and used to attend his needs right from morning call, serving food and all such matters and finally slept in his room to attend the needs during odd hours of night. So bhai Ram Singh was very lucky to have nice children who very well attended him for comfortable living during old age. Ram Singh went to washroom to ease on 14th early morning where he had his last breath. So he had a happy saintly ending and left for his heavenly abode on 14th of January, 2023.
He was married to Kitab Kaur (Kitabo) of Dahiya Gotra of village Kirholi from a farming family to accompany him as a partner in his new journey. She was very hard working and from a progressive farming family. So she was well versed with farming operations to provide support. She was a great help to Ram Singh to establish quickly.
As narrated by bhai Ram Singh about his sordid past happening when he was sent in the village to adopt farming as his profession, he had no roof on his head to live there. In spite of lot of intervention and efforts by Ch. Hardwari Lal, who was mentally very upset and disturbed due to on-going service issues at his work place, he was sent to Hissar by Ram Singh to sort out the issue himself. He was not given any built-up area as a share in the name of his father to live with his family by his senior generation. Ultimately, he had no other option but to build his own house in the vacant area earmarked for him in-side the campus of boundary-wall built by Dada Roop Chand. So at present his built up area is there in the campus of Dada Roop Chand and one of the houses owned by Tau Kanhaya has been purchased by one of his son.
See the destiny and His decision, today those who considered bhai Ram Singh as an interference and deprived him from right of equal-share in built up property of Dada Roop Chand none of them or their next generation are there in the village. It is only Ram Singh with assistance of his sons who is managing most of collective family lands, which once belonged to Dada Roop Chand.
